The Novara™ MC5 is a compact digital mini centrifuge built for labs that need fast, reliable spins without sacrificing bench space. It features a four-position rotor compatible with a wide range of 5 mL tubes — including snap-cap and screw-cap centrifuge tubes and 5 mL blood collection tubes — plus four additional positions sized for standard 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes. Optional adapters extend compatibility further to 2 mL cryotubes, 0.2 mL PCR tubes, and 0.5 mL microtubes, making the MC5 one of the most versatile compact centrifuges available.
With digital speed control up to 7,000 rpm (~2,740 xg), the MC5 delivers stronger relative centrifugal force for faster processing times. An adjustable digital timer (up to 99 minutes, 59 seconds) and a built-in safety interlock automatically halt the rotor if the lid is opened mid-spin. Speed can be displayed and set in either RPM or RCF thanks to built-in conversion, giving users flexibility depending on protocol requirements.
