Unlike standard units that lock your parameters once a run begins, the HPS02 features Independent Parameter Control managed via a high-contrast digital LCD interface. This allows you to fine-tune speed, time, or temperature individually without stopping the motor—essential for complex, multi-stage assays.
Most benchtop mixers utilize a generic 2mm orbit, but the HPS02 features a specialized 3mm horizontal orbit, providing the increased agitation energy necessary for thorough resuspension in deep-well plates. Whether you are working with genomics, proteomics, or high-viscosity reagents, the HPS02 ensures a true, consistent vortex in every well, outperforming conventional low-power alternatives.
Experimental integrity is guarded by an advanced Fuzzy Logic microprocessor. This "smart" control system features Automatic Temperature Recovery, which intelligently detects thermal fluctuations and rapidly restores the set point to maintain equilibrium. This logic also prevents temperature overshoots by intuitively tapering power as it nears your set point, ensuring delicate samples never exceed their thermal limit.
Equipped with PID control, the HPS02 reaches temperature rapidly (RT to 80°C in ≤ 10 min). While lower-quality shakers only heat from the bottom—causing sample evaporation and condensation—the HPS02 utilizes an integrated heated lid.
