While standard mixers limit your throughput, the HPS4 allows you to process four plates simultaneously with Independent Parameter Control. Using the high-contrast digital LCD interface, you can fine-tune speed, time, or temperature on the fly—essential for high-volume, multi-stage assays.

Most benchtop mixers utilize a generic 2mm orbit, but the HPS4 features a specialized 3mm horizontal orbit, providing more agitation energy than a 2mm orbit. This is what deep-well plates and high-viscosity reagents need for thorough resuspension. Whether you are working with genomics, proteomics, or diagnostics, the HPS4 delivers a true, consistent vortex across all four positions.

Adaptive temperature control protects your samples. If the temperature drifts, the HPS4 detects it and quickly brings it back to set point, and as it approaches your target it automatically eases off the heat so it doesn't overshoot and stress delicate samples.

Equipped with PID control, the HPS4 reaches temperature rapidly (RT to 80°C in ≤ 12 min). To reduce the "edge effect" common in multi-plate incubators, the unit utilizes an integrated heated lid that envelops the plates in a uniform thermal shroud. This prevents sample evaporation and condensation, protecting your sample integrity and ensuring your plate seals remain secure.
